Welcome to our Coast to Coast Creators Blog Hop! This month we were given a Simple Stamping challenge using only stamps, paper and ink, with one embellishment allowed (I chose twine).

I used the new Shimmering Scenes Stamp Set to create the look of a black & white photo. The set can also be used to create very colourful scenes but I like this effect, too! It also comes with hot foil dies for those who have the Stampin' Hot Foil System!
I stamped the grass and sky in Smoky Slate ink, the hills in Basic Gray and the Mountains in Black, on Basic White cardstock. I used a Basic Black marker and Black Stampin' Journaling Pen to outline the stamped image. The twine came from the Baker's Twine Essentials Pack.
The sentiment came from the Scalloped Blooms Stamp Set and was stamped in black. I used a Basic Black card base.
