Welcome to our August blog hop! Our theme this month was to use this image for inspiration!
I chose to create a card with the ocean and a sunset. I used the ink dragging technique along with some Sponge Daubers to create the scene. Ink colours used were Lemon Lolly, Pretty in Pink, Flirty Flamingo, Gorgeous Grape and Tuxedo Black.

The card base is Gorgeous Grape with a Basic White piece for the scene, which was mounted on Basic Black. Ink dragging is just that....dragging your ink pads across the cardstock! I also used torn Post-It Notes as masks to create the mountains. I used a Sponge Dauber with black ink along the bottom of the scene. I also splashed Wink of Stella on the scene but it doesn't show up very well in the photos!

The only stamps I used on this card were the sailboat, stamped in black, from the Under the Moon Stamp Set and the Thank You from Everyday Greetings, heat embossed in white. I finished with Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
