AWOW Blog Hop - Sketch Challenge

 

Welcome to this month's Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop! This month my global colleagues and I are using a sketch as inspiration for our cards. I love using sketches as a kicking off point for my cards!

Here is the sketch we're using...

...and here is my card!

I used a combination of current and upcoming new products! The main products are from the Delicate Dreams Suite Collection from the March Online Exclusives. This includes the flowered DSP (Delicate Dreams 12x12 Specialty DSP), the plaid copper DSP (Delicate Designs 12x12 Specialty DSP) sentiment stamp (Delicate Wishes Stamp Set), the die-cut leaves (cut from Soft Sea Foam & Crumb Cake) and the stamped foliage inside the card, stamped in Secret Sea ink. 

The frame is cut with the Phrases & Frames Dies using the Earthen-Toned Metallic 12x12 Specialty Paper and I used the Impressions Plate to give it some depth! You will see the dies and plate in the May - August 2026 Catalogue and online on May 5th.

The card base is an upcoming new "In Color" called Hydrangea Hue. Isn't it a gorgeous colour?

The sentiment is stamped in Secret Sea ink on a label, also from the Phrases & Frames Dies. I cut a Vellum circle using the Stylish Shapes Dies to back the label. 

I finished with 3 copper gems from the Adhesive-Backed Metallic Gems.

Coast to Coast Creators Hop - Colour Challenge

Welcome to February's Coast to Coast Creators Blog Hop! This month we are focusing on a colour challenge as per this picture! 

Since these are perfect Valentine's Day colours, I chose to use our Endless Love Bundle!

My card includes 3 of the colours above - Strawberry Slush, Flirty Flamingo and Bubble Bath.

I started with a Basic White card base and added a Basic White layer embossed with the Lovely Stripes 3D Embossing Folder. The four pieces of DSP come from the Square Snippets 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper. This paper is made up of 3" x 3" and 4" x 4" squares of various colours and designs. I chose some that included the colours I wanted and cut these into 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" and 1 1/2" x 3" pieces. These were mounted on Basic White and then a Strawberry Slush layer.

The heart and arrow were die cut from the Endless Love Bundle and the stamping, in Strawberry Slush ink, was done with the small heart, dots and sentiment from the same bundle. The sentiment banner was cut from the Stylish Shapes Dies. I added 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls in Strawberry Slush to finish the card front.

I stamped the small grouping of hearts inside the card in Strawberry Slush.

Coast to Coast Creators Blog Hop - January - April 2026 Mini Catalogue

 

Welcome to October's Coast to Coast Creators Blog Hop! This month we are focusing on products from the new January - April 2026 Mini Catalogue! I chose to use the awesome Gears & Textures Bundle, one of my favourites in the catalogue!

I used an easy book binding fun fold with a Basic Black card base. The next layers are Crumb Cake. The thin strip on the spine is embossed with the new Lovely Stripes 3D Embossing Folder. The main panel is scored every half inch. I then dragged a Basic Gray ink pad over both Crumb Cake pieces.

The gears are die cut from Silver Foil which has been stamped with various texture stamps in Versamark and heat embossed with gold, copper and black embossing powders.

The Basic Gray strip is stamped with the splatter stamp in Basic Gray and the arrows stamp in Memento Tuxedo Black.

The sentiment comes from the Simply Said Mix & Match Stamp Set. I added 3 Faux Bronze Pentagons to the centre of the gears.

The inside layer is in Basic Beige with a strip of the stamped and embossed Silver Foil and small gear die-cut.
