Coast to Coast Creators Hop - 2026-2028 In Colors!

 

Welcome to May's Coast to Coast Creators Blog Hop! This month we are focusing on the brand new 2026-2028 In Colors! The five new colours are Barely Blush, Crisp Cantaloupe, Golden Glow, Peaceful Pine and Hydrangea Hue. I chose to use two of these colours for my card - Hydrangea Hue and Peaceful Pine.

I chose to use the fabulous Relaxing Waterside Bundle along with some die-cut birds from the Sunset Coast Bundle and the banner from the Everyday Arches Dies. I just love the Adirondack chair!

The card base is Thick Basic White and then I used our Two-Tone Cardstock in each of the two In Colors. I used the light side of the Hydrangea Hue Two-Tone Cardstock for the first layer on the card front. Then I added a 2 1/4" wide strip of the Hydrangea Hue striped paper from the 2026-2028 In Color Painted Patterns 12" x 12" Designer Series Paper.

Next, I added a strip of Peaceful Pine Two-Tone Cardstock, the light side, with the top edge torn. I die-cut the bulrushes (cattails) from the dark side of the same cardstock and coloured the tops with a Dark Pecan Pie Stampin' Blends pen.

The sentiment was stamped in Peaceful Pine ink on the smallest Everyday Arches Die. I finished off the card front with 2026-2028 In Color Dots in Hydrangea Hue.

Inside the card, I stamped the foliage once full strength and once stamped off (2nd generation) in Peaceful Pine. The sentiment was stamped in Hydrangea Hue.
