Coast to Coast Blog Hop - Rain or Shine

Welcome to April's hop! This month, we are highlighting some of the retiring items in the annual and mini catalogues! If you haven't checked out the Last Chance Lists yet (up to 60% discounts!), have a look before your favourites sell out!

I chose the super cute Rain or Shine Suite Collection. Isn't this turtle just adorable?
The good news is that most of the products in the suite are NOT retiring! The Playing in the Rain Stamp Set and Dies, the Raindrops Embossing Folder and the Loose Daisy Embellishments are carrying forward to the upcoming 2023-2024 Annual Catalogue!

Sadly, we are saying good-bye to the Rain or Shine 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP). In my card, this DSP was used as the background and I was also able to cut out the turtle from the DSP with the matching die! Three of the animals in the stamp set and dies are also in the DSP! You can see on the turtle that parts of him have a clear embossing effect! Very cool!

I used Mango Melody ink and cardstock which are also retiring. I used a Blending Brush to add a little Mango Melody to the circle behind the turtle before popping him up on Stampin' Dimensionals. I scattered Loose Daisy Embellishments around the bottom. The Thick Basic White and Balmy Blue cardstocks are carrying forward!

The sentiment was stamped in Versamark ink and heat embossed with White Stampin' Emboss Powder and our Heat Tool.

The Old Olive ribbon is also retiring. It is from the Old Olive & Sahara Sand Twill Ribbon Combo Pack in the annual catalogue.

Please enjoy hopping to the blog posts of my talented teammates below!

  2. Your card is just so cute!! Lucky for me I just bought a pack of this paper. Although it will be discontinued, I'll still use, and post work with it. I like how you have the turtle in a circle over the DSP. It grabbed my attention right away.
